Please take the time to check out Heidi’s blog. I have just copied her information below because I couldn’t put my own spin on her words. I hope every one of you takes the time to participate in this one. It’s for such a good cause…everyone wins just by giving from the heart.
CANDY FOR A CAUSE
I have a strong desire to do something for someone else………… and give each person that helps me a chance to win some goodies! Honestly, don’t you always feel bettter after you have done something that you know will make someone else smile? I know I do! So here is what I want to do- we have a local Ronald McDonald’s House that is affiliated with the University of Michigan. I feel blessed that I have healthy children as I honestly do not know how those parents can do it. RMH is home to many sick children and their parents while their little ones are inpatient or getting treatment of all sorts. I want to collect cards for them to send out, I am looking for general cards such as Thinking of You, You make me smile, Thank you, I am there for you, Friendship ……… anything you think that they would use.
My goal is 100 cards- so please help me reach that goal- and all you ladies over seas/Canada – you have lots of time to mail those cards to me- I will leave this open until December 1st. I will then draw a winner on Thursday December 4th.
What you will win: SU Everyday Celebrations, SU Fancy Fibers “Annie”, SU Eggplant hemp twine, and SU metal edge tags.
So- here are the details:
1. Send me a card/envelope that I can give to RMH families and I will give you an entry for EACH card you send me. Email me at steinrn@yahoo.com for my address when you are ready to mail them.
2. Post a link on your blog spreading the news of this Candy for a Cause and I will enter you in the contest- please leave a comment here that you have done this.
Thank you so much for participating in this Candy for a Cause!

I decided to make a card using some kind of fibers. For those of you that know me you understand just how difficult this is. Well, I must say this isn’t exactly what I had in mind when I started out but at least I used fibers!!! Plus green and orange are two of my favorite colors so the card turned out okay. If it’s a total eyesore……………………someone please be honest enough to tell me.
The stamp is Stamping Bella’s Lottie & Gussie Gabalot. The paper is SU (bold brights) and I colored the image with my copics. Used my nesties and obviously plenty of fibers that I received from my Bella sistah Danyel. The inside of the card was done with SU’s Happy Everything stamp set.
I had to make a card for my SIL’s birthday that is coming up. Always difficult for me to make cards for men but I keep on trying. I got this image from one of the swap’s I was in a while ago and this was the only one left. You know what that means…no wiggle room for mistakes.
I’m pretty happy with the way the card turned out. I have decided I like the look of cards that have been decorated on the inside too so I wanted to give it a try.
The paper is SU Purely Pomegranate, Pacific Point, Basic Blackand the DP is from the DCWV Fall Stack. I used my Copics for coloring.
Hello Sistahs, I am writing because there is a wonderful little boy out there that needs our love. His name is Daniel and he is going to be 11 very soon. Here is the link to his mother Claire’s site so you can read just how special he is. I realize we can’t get cards to him on time for his birthday at this late date but I am sure he will love them anyway. I am including the post Claire wrote requesting cards but for some reason I am unable to copy the picture for you(I suppose it may have something to do with my limited computer skills). Claire does some awesome work and you will love to check it out while you are there. I just received the mailing address about an hour ago:

So come on Bella Sisters…lets all show some love…Bella style and send it to Daniel!
Thank you all for taking the time out of your day to read this blog and please pass it on to everyone you know. I would love to make this a memorable birthday for Daniel.

Some of you will know my son Daniel has Aspbergers Syndrome (which was diagnosed only 2 yrs ago). Aspergers is mild Autism where they are unable to socialise and interact socially, making everyday life quite difficult for them. Because of this we have had a lengthy battle with out local education authority to get Daniel statemented and into a new school as class sizes and lack of help actually stopped Daniel from progressing and took its toll. It took over a year but we have won so far and after much stress and a very expensive solicitor,Daniel started a new school in September, again mainstream but with a satalite unit just for ASD children. A nice class size of 6 pupils and 121 when he needs it. Because of his condition he doesn’t have birthday parties as he hasn’t a great circle of friends so last year some were kind enough to send Daniel a birthday card. I saved them all and then wrapped up in a box for him to open and he absolutely loved it. Above is a picture of what he received last year. I am asking if any of you would like to send Daniel a card. Daniel does craft with me and is actually quite good and I know another surprise like last year would really put a smile on his face. He will be 11 yrs old on the 7th November and I know how much he appreciates the work we put into our crafting. My email is on my profile or leave a comment and I’ll get back to you, but I hope you can understand why I’m asking and not a desperate attempt to break any records.
Thanks for Reading

I hope everyone had a great Halloween. I just love all of the little kiddies in their costumes….but I can’t believe it’s already November! I hosted a SU demonstration at my house yesterday and I just wanted to share what we made with you. I wish I could take credit for these cards but I can’t. Well, I did make them but of course everyone else made the same card so I can’t have any credit. I hope you like them anyway. The demo was great fun as always. Lots of food, talking, jokes and of course stamping.

Of course everything is SU but all of you SU demonstrators will know the names of everything better than I do. This last card is my personal favorite and it was so fun to make. However, when it comes to buying I think I just might have to buy the tree before it’s discontinued. As always, please ignore my lousy photos. Hopefully Santa is going to be good to me this year and drop off a new camera at my house. Until next time.

Sorry I’m a little late. This came on Monday and it’s already Saturday but I still wanted to make sure I give a big Thank Youto Danyel, my Bella Sistah. I received a FedEx box that was filled with goodies. I did my best to take pictures for you but a photographer I am not!
Although this picture is fuzzy it gives you an idea of how full the box was right.
This was a little canister that had a pack of gum (on the left) a couple of ink pens, a candle and 2 small cards inside of it. Also Danyel made a little box out of card stock and put 3 small cards inside of it.
With this picture I tried to include as much as I could. As you can see there are stickers, ribbons, yarn, coasters, SU discontinued cardstock (thank you very much), buttons, dimensionals, a jumbo clip, drink mixes from Tastefully Simple…

More great cards………can you all see that Cruella Card???????? and let’s not forget Maisy Sunshine one of my favoritest Chichi’s. Thank you Danyel. Hugz
