I have been feeling a little down so I’ve spent a lot of time looking at blogs. Everyone out there is so freaking creative!. I get so tangled up just looking at the paper I can’t figure out what to do with it. I finally did complete a couple of cards though, so I will share them with you.
I absolutely fell in love with this background paper. The card didn’t need anything else even though I have been trying to add some ribbon or something to my cards to give them some zing. The cardstock is SU and it’s colored with colored pencils and Copic Spica glitter pens.
This card took me hours to complete! It’s SU groovy guava & old olive cardstock, don’t know the background paper. I didn’t have any flowers–just because I don’t have any. I found a pack laying around that had been 50% off that were white and said things like snow, frolic, icicles…you get the picture. Well, of course that wouldn’t work. I finally took one of those winter themed flowers and colored it with my colored pencils and MADE IT match my cardstock. Whew!!! I finally finished it and got to go to bed.
I have a new Fiskars border punch and I love it. It’s pretty much the same size as the new SU one but it has the holes puched out. Of course mine was 40% off too. This was the last card from a class I took a few weeks ago–I just colored her and put her together over the weekend though. Don’t know anything about the paper except cheap stock (all but my SU I mounted it all on).
I went to a SU demo over the weekend and I just had to share this card with you because I absolutely love it. It’s made with one of the brand new sets-of course I don’t know the name of it. All of the mistakes are mine but the design was Eva’s, the demonstrator.
I have absolutely no idea what you would call this card besides fun. I was just goofing off a while ago and this is what I came up with. I used the white glossy card stock to start with. I have one of those kaleidoscope ink color pads and just never knew what to do with it. What do you think?
Well that’s all for now. Hope all is well with everyone around the globe in our sassy little bella world.

I love your Bella with Groovy Guava. The others are cute, too. The more you play around the better. Check out the SCS Galleries for more ideas! I spend way too much time there. Can’t wait to see what’s next.

All of these are VERY lovely! Beautifully done. TFS!
You are much too hard on yourself! These are fantastic! The fairy gal speaks to me. You know I grapple with paper too. I grapple with everything really. It truly can take me days to get one card done. Then if I am happy with it I reproduce! You are doing a great job!

These are all very perrrrty cards. I love the photographer bella… with the coool background… did you color just part of that or is it paper? I know you said that the cardstock was SU… but I don’t recongnize the bkgnd paper… I love how there are just splashes of color back there… If you colored it you did awesome… if you didn’t… you picked the perfect spot for the colored sections to show on the card.
great job!
All of your cards are beautiful!! TFS!
Very cute cards, I don’t think that you need inspiration, they’re lovely.
