A House Mouse Birthday Card

A birthday card for a dear friend.

This is a card I finished a couple of weeks ago but never got around to posting.  Sorry the picture isn’t very good.  I obviously need to learn how to use my camera a LOT better.  Although you can’t tell from the picture this came out really cute and I love all of the colors on it.This is also my first attempt at making my own paper rose with my Marvy Uchida punch.  It was actually kind of fun to make and I’m finding I like the idea of everything handmade on my cards.

Once more I will try to list all of the ingredients for my card.  I’m hoping this comes easier after a while because so far it seems like a chore.  I guess I just need to get a routine down…or maybe show a picture of all the copics like some others do…good idea!  Anyway, I used:

Stampin Up cardstock Elegant Eggplant, Tempting Turquoise, Taken With Teal and Basic Black.  The DP is K&Company Eloise.  I used Spellbinders ovals and scalloped ovals, Martha Stewart lace punch and SU corner punch.

Colored with copics:
E000, E00, E01, E02, R02 mouse face
E31, E33, E35 mouse fur
R29, R22, YG63 red berries
V15, V09 blackberries
R46, R24 raspberries
BV04, BV02 blueberries
Spicas in multiple colors to give splashes of light

Whew, I hope I got it all.  I hope my friend Eva likes her birthday card too.  If you feel like it let me know what you think.  Especially if I have listed everything wrong or there is an easier way to do it I would love your input.

Hugz,
Cheri
