A Card For The Hanglar Challenge

I know it has been way too long since I have posted any cards but I hope to change that soon.  I finally have a craft area and it is beyond wonderful ~smile~

This is my very first time trying to post all of the ingredients I used on my card so please bear with me.

This card was made specifically for the Challenge at the new Hanglar Challenge Blog.

If you are going to check out the Hanglar blog you will also be interested in the blog candy going on at Iris’s blog because she is wanting to spread the word about the new blog too.  Be sure to check out both of the links…I’m sure you’ll be glad you did.

I used Stampin Up cardstock – Purely Pomegranante from the ’07-’08 In Colors and Old Olive.  The DP was K & Company “Classic K”.  The wreath was made from Spellbinders Eyelet Pendant and then just folded and the flower is one that I crocheted myself.  It was all colored with copics which I am just learning how to use. (Actually I am going to a class tomorrow to learn how to use them….the trainer is Debbie Olson yippee!!!)

COPICS USEDS
Skin E00, E01, R02
Top & Hat RV11, RV32, RV34
Bottoms G21, G24, G63
Pot & Hearts R39
Hair & Shoes E31, E33, YR20, YR24
Blender O
Spica’s for a little sparkle

Did I do this right?  I hope so because it was a little intimidating for me.  Hope you enjoy the card and I’ll be back soon with more.  Before I go though I want to share a close up of the flower I crocheted, well, just because I guess;

While I wasn’t making cards I was making a bunch of flowers and decided it was time to try and use one.

Thanks for looking and I hope you have an awesome weekend.  I know I will….Copics – here I come ;0)

Hugz,
Cheri

  1. What a sweetheart you are 🙂 Your card is gorgeous. I can’t believe you made the flower. They are all the rage right now. So so pretty. I can crochet, but with a 2 yr old, having needles around is not a good thing! Guess I just have to admire yours 🙂

  2. What a pretty card and such a lovely flower! Thank you so much for entering into my candy and good luck to you!

    Hugs,
    Elise
